 ***Assembly Meeting***
​Brother Sir Knights,
Just a friendly reminder regarding our monthly meeting HAS CHANGED this month to :

Our Annual Captain's Dinner will be held on Friday, December 13th at Casa Cosenza @ 7:00pm
3705 Tampa Rd. St. 6 
Oldmar, Fl 34677.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone there and to kick off the new fraternal year right! 

I will send out an agenda as well as last months meeting minutes later today. I promise it will be a short meeting!

I also invite everyone after the meeting to join me for "Refreshments" across the street at Maloney's Pub next to Chili's.

***VA Helping Hands Dinner***

​If you would like to volunteer.  Please be there no later than 5:30pm and wear your Assembly shirt.  The dinner is located in the Spinal Cord Injury Unit of the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Florida.  If you have any questions, please contact S/K Bob Beauregard or mrbuild2@aol.com

My Dear Brothers in Christ,
Welcome to (Saint) Pope John XXIII Assembly 2984 (www.assembly2984) where something is always happening right here in Tampa, Florida! 
Congratulations to all the new Sir Knights of Columbus who took the final step and became part of the most recognized in the Knights of Columbus .....The Fourth Degree!  As a Sir Knight, you are now eligible to wear our new uniform and carry your sword as a Soldier of Christ. What a great honor that has been bestowed upon you. Now is your hour!
Our Annual Captain's Dinner will be held on Friday, December 13th at Villagio Restorante on Rt. 41 in Lutz.
 Please contact our Worthy Captain, SK Joe Gajewski @ hockey123@me.com for details and reservations. This a formal event . Dress code is our new 4th Degree Uniform, tux or dark suit.  You and your spouse are invited to a fun-filled evening and enjoy this culinary event.
Our next General Assembly Meeting will be on Monday, December 16th at St Paul's Family Center. It all starts with the Rosary at 7:00pm in front of the Blessed Virgin statue. Helping Hands on Thursday, December 19th at 6:00pm.  Be sure to wear your assembly shirt.
Remember to Keep Christ in Christmas!
And remember, at Pope John XXIII Assembly #2984, the best is yet to come!  Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
